How to treat new Evo?
Hi Guys , i am new Evo Owner
mine is :
Evo IX 2006 yellow
Gear: 6 /M
HP: 286HP
I've just bought it , new from the dealer (no warranty)
Soo , I need the steps to keep My Evo a life For 5-7 years With mods from 350-400AWHP
Soo what can i do for the new car. ex ( buy turbo timer , BOV ....) safty things
and what are the Mods can i do (let say after 10000 KM) to my Evo to get to the 400 AWHP. with the long life.
and let us not to forget that it is hot as hill here (weather)"no body say cahnge the turbo and get the gt37r" , and bad dealer
. (thats why i need less damages)
And is it easy to fix as what i heared??
**And Please anyone pases here: tell me how many KM or Mile you have on the Evo**
Forgive me for my bad English iam not native Speaker

Be nice to this guy...comeon....
Dude, change the oil religously, like every 3,000 miles. use the best gas you can buy 93 octane or higher. If you only 91 octane you might think about getting a tune(which is an Emasil flash) where you sedn your ECU to a tuner thru the mail. The Evo's are sturdy cars, they just need constant maintenance. Don't neglect changing th oil and you'll be fine. you don't need a BOV the stock one is good for now. To get 400 HP you should get a complete exhaust system from the turbo back all the way( down pipe, test pipe--if you can get away without running a catalytic converter, cat back exhaust), get better Intercooler pipes, either a drop in filter or a good air intake, cams, and lastly a TUNE for your ECU. his should get you pretty close to the 400 mark...
