Intake Flutter

Hey guys I'm getting this noise then I boost like 2-5psi that looks like intake flutter is there a way to fix it couse when my BOV works and that sound from intake it seems like my car is a machine gun lol I dont like it

It's normal. Not enough backpressure for the BOV to open so it backfeeds through the intake. You should've heard my F250 do it. I had a V8 6.0L turbo diesel and they don't have BOV's so all the built up boost exits back out through the intake.

it will fix the problem if you completely let off the gas instead of part throttling it. you just have to adjust your driving habits a bit with an aftermarket DV.

Put your stock intake in to make it quiet is about it. ANY turbo will do it. The built up boost (as minimal as it is) has to go somewhere.

It even does it with the stock 9 JDM BOV.

it is called compressor surge which is normal and happens in low boost.
