People will flame someone regardless of anything one does. haha.

To the OP, yes, stick with the stock IX bov. The money spent in getting a new BOV just to hear the sound could have been spent on an intake filter (which would make you hear it) and possibly a decent boost gauge.

Definately can feel the difference and no tun needed.

You'll lose performance with this modification unless you get it tuned, which will cost you money just for a ricer blow-off sound.

Save your money or as said above, get yourself an intake.

I didn't but it's still funny. I'm also sure another newbie will come through here with the same question eventually.

Well sticking to topic, If you really want a bov as your first mod and want a better sound without sacrificing drivability, I'd suggest a Forge Recirculated bov with a blue spring.

Works just as well as the IX bov, sounds better (IMO), and holds more boost if you are ever looking to up your psi. Comes in Polished, or black.

If noise is all you want, you could cut half of your stock airbox cover off and while your at it, drop in a K&N filter. You will hear the car spool and the bov releasing air. No tune needed.
