My New Evo.

My new 2006 Evolution IX MR

SHe has 10k miles on her, bought her 2 weeks ago, I absolutely love her.
My last car was a 94 Turbo Integra, this is a big step up I must say.

congrats dude, I just got my 03 2 weeks ago too, step up from turbo240sx and IS300. The Evo beats it all and it's totally stock. C

Excellent choice. I really think people will be a lot happier with the IX as opposed to the X.

True, it still remains to be seen and I'll have to get behind the wheel of one before I make an official decision, but visually I believe the IX is the meaner of the two.

That, and it will be the last of the old school 4g63 Evos

Yeah, the X just couldnt sell me, the looks proved too timid and less agressive than the 9.

Not to put a damper on things (hated when people did that when I first signed up lol) but a once over would probably be a good idea. 10k miles is a lot for an Evo...at least, if you don't know how rough those miles were. I'm sure everything's fine but it never hurts to check.

Also, gotta say I'm quite jealous...no front plate, no drilled holes...man I hate my state lol

I agree with your once over. Myself and my dad checked her out thoroughly after the purchase. Everything is in order. I changed her oil with Mobil1 synthetic 10W30 about 300 miles ago. I did not want to mess with the Diff fluid or anything like that.

Do yourself, (And your WALLET) a favor, and change the diff fluid every 5K miles. NOT what the book tells you your interval should be.
