Just bought a VIII wing going to repaint it. Anyone ever try to actually take apart the spoiler? If so any tips on how to do this doesn't look like it has screws...

 

Its rivited (sp?). Just take your sweet @$$ time taping the carbon off.

i was actually thinking of sanding it all down and making it all carbon fiber. Main reason why i wanted to take it apart. Or i was also thinking of painting the middle and leaving the ends carbon fiber just so its different from the rest lol

does the IX MR have a full carbon fiber wing or is it just the middle section

 

The IX's are plastic on the ends.

 

DAMN IT!!! anyone selling a Evo VIII wing? or know where to buy the stock one from? cuz I wanna get the Evo VIII cuz its all CF and the IXs arnt

 

keep an eye in the classifieds on here, there's VIII wings floating around on there from time to time.

 

i dismantled mine.... if thats what you want to call it.... it will never be together again.
