does everyone have theirs garaged?
i dont have a garage and have parked mine on the street since i have owned it...i have got a few scratches here and there. im under the assumption that if people see my getting out of my car or something they will think twice before messing with it.
and i was living in extreme ghetto for a while. but now im in a nicer area. not really nice but nicer...
and another tip...park next to an expensive car...maybe the thief will go after that car instead...lol

I keep mine in my garage, however I don't think that it's needed. I actually think that it gets more damaged being in the garage... I tend to hit it and drop things on it when I'm working in the garage
I think that I'll have to start doing a yearly checkup with the PDR guy. At least I don't have to worry about it being stolen tho.

My DSM stays garaged year round. I'm so paticular about keeping it garage kept that I actually sacrifice driving it for much of the school year. During the semester I live in the U of I dorms, so obviously the car would have to be parked outside on campus. Call me crazy but I just don't trust the 30,000 drunk college students roaming campus at night. I'd much rather only drive my car on weekends during the school year if it means I can keep my car safely garage kept across town (at my parent's house).
from what i heard the evo is a pretty hard car to steal. i have heard of only a couple cases since they came to the US...im sure there were more than just a few but i think it takes more than just the local honda thief to steal an evo.... i think..
AND OH YEAH>>>>KNOCK ON WOOD

I agree that it is not necessary to garage an Evo, but it sure does cut down on a lot of dirtiness and vandalism. Vandals generally want easy targets that do not involve breaking into a garage.
I live in a nice, quiet neighborhood with little pedestrian and car traffic, but I still garage my car. It is definitely a big plus during the snow season too.

i am of the opinion that a garage is 100% neccesary for any car.
i hate coming out the day after washing and detailing it, only to find it is covered in shxt already again.
and god forbid a bird poops on my car. that drives me nuts.
and of course it helps deter thieves and vandals.

when i lived in west philly i had a garage. now that i moved i have a parking lot, and street parking. i left my drivers side window and my sunroof open one night and nothing was even touched. but then again thats the only time ive had any type of luck with my evo
Well mine is in the garage no matter what.... I live in a nice nighboorhood, but I just dont trust some ofthe people. there are pleny of people who strongly dislike me because of the fact that I am only 19Years Old, Driving a 2006 Evo, and owened a 2005 Eclipse before I ought the evo. But I wouldnt leave it out side, and the Fuel pump cut-off switch is a great idea I should do that for when I have to leave it in a parking lot for a few hours. But I would put it in the garage, cuz you never know whos out there wanting to steal it or mess it up.
