does everyone have theirs garaged?
From my perspective it doesn't really matter where you live, you're always a target if you have nice stuff that's accessible. Thieves are either already in your neighborhood shopping because they live nearby, or go to your neighborhood because it's got a reputation of being safe....and people leave their nice things outside and unprotected. Mine's garaged every night and I even go so far as to lock my garage door. If they really want your car it will be broken into or gone completely. The only way to approach it is to make yours less desirable than something else.

I agree with the previous post as criminals will get it regardless if they want it bad enough so why give them added motivation by leaving it in the driveway or on the street? For this reason, mine stays garaged and I think of it as removing temptation from anybody.
I Have A Garage But I Live In Newark New Jersey. Its So Bad In My Area When I Go Out And Park The Car In A Lot I Have A Police Siren Alarm 2clubs And I Put 2 Boots On My Rims......doesnt Mean They Still Cant Steal It But Dammit Their Gona Have A Hard Time...
I think the people who do care about insurance costs going up are most of the other Evo owners and prospective Evo buyers who see how high (and rising) insurance rates are for the Evo. It's the #1 most expensive car to insure in the U.S.
It's fine if you want to live at home with your parents and park your Evo in their driveway, that's your choice. But I was just stating my opinion and facts. Opinion: buying an expensive car that is equally expensive to maintain and regularly parking it outside is in my opinion not very sensible. Fact: A car that stands out as much as an Evo is a target to thieves and vandals. By regularly parking an Evo outside it increases the risk of it being vandalized/stolen. When an Evo is stolen/vandalized and an insurance claim is made, it causes insurance rates for Evos to go up.

The Evo is garaged. I've had my Talon for 7 years though, and it wasn't garaged for the first 4 years. It went through various stages of modding, and was kept outside during college in Rochester, NY, summer internships in Michigan, and home in Pennsylvania.
It's nice to have a garage, but I don't think it should be a deciding factor on getting a car. A motorcycle maybe, but not a car.
