does everyone have theirs garaged?
Hey, I currently live with 2 cars but one sits in the drive way and one on the street. Alot of stolen vehicles around my neighbor hood. Because of this factor My dreams of getting a evo had to be placed on hold.
btw theres 2 other evos 1 block away from me, they dont garage it. Pretty brave.
im dorming to a college this sept. So this might be able to allow me to get my evo. But im still worried that somone might gta my evo
so does everybody garage their evos? a must?
from what i know even with a expensive alarm system, theives will do anything for a evo. I need some advice , any would be greatly appreciated. thanks everyone , btw i love this forum

mines in the garage, but i dont think its 100% necasary. i live in a nice town sourounded by not so nice towns. and i guess i have some haters by me cause my car has been vandalized 3 times. i leave mine in the garage because i can, and especially since i got wheels.
I garage mine for sure. I have with every one of my vehicles in the last 3 years... not once have I let them sit outside in my possession. Now, if I ever get a set of VOLKS or nice wheels, and HAD to sit it outside over night... I would probably put the stockers on.. lol.
My room mates are brave though... one has a Civic with white TE37s (and occassionally switches them out with Lensos) and the other has a s2000 with Enkeis... I just couldnt do that myself...

From: Long Island, NY (Hurry up and wait)
Just remember if a professional theif REALLY wants it he will get it. That means waiting for unknown periods of time etc. Get a fuel pump remote cutoff switch and alarm and even then you cant stop a tow truck. Im paranoid too but i also pay some of the highest insurance around in NY so i figure its for something.
I have mine garaged, but I live in a pretty rich neighborhood.
But when I went to school, I parked it out on the streets of new brunswick...looking back, it's a miracle nothing ever happened to it. Dorm areas seem to be one of the major areas that people on here report vandalism/theft/etc. I'd rethink it if you're buying it right before you go away to school

i am of the opinion that a garage is 100% neccesary for any car.
i hate coming out the day after washing and detailing it, only to find it is covered in shxt already again.
and god forbid a bird poops on my car. that drives me nuts.
and of course it helps deter thieves and vandals.

Depending on where you live, it may be very difficult to find a garage in Flushing to park your car. At the very least I would park it in the driveway. I had mine outside in the street once and it got broken into and I got a bunch of things stolen.
