Sounds very enticing. They are upfront about this car being flooded out and I was very interested in buying it until I took a closer look at the pictures specially the front seats. Judge for yourself if this car is really a steal. Or am I just being too picky.

Ya, I agree..those front seats=replaced=somethings up...water level up to just above the carpet does not mean you need to replace the SE seats......just my opinion...I definitely wouldnt go near that...for a bit more money just get a new one, or one slightly used, but with no damage..

The title disclosure says "other", so I guess that means "salvage" --- definitely fishy. It all depends on your plans, though. If you're going to be purchasing better seats and rims, and also giving the motor some TLC, then it might be a great place to start a project car. Whichever you decide, ask your local car authorities what a salvage (flood damaged) evo would go for with 4k miles on it. And also get as much of the vehicles' story verified as you can befor you buy.
Good luck!

The dealer just emailed me. He said that the seats were stolen before he took possession of the vehicle. If I was a dealer trying to sell this car I think I would put everything back to stock. The interior doesn't look right with stock Lancer seats but, that's just me. And yes, I'm staying away.
A bit more than I would pay but it sounds credible, its a salvage title (kills resale), I am driving a mustang right now that was in a flood, the water came up to the cup holders, we took it apart and dried everything out the way your supposed to, car runs amazing.
