i don't see many evo owned around my area, but when i do see one, he is trying to race me, but i just cruise. there are alot of sti around, and they always either try to race me or speed pass me and rev.

 

when i had my wrx ive always had the suby owners waving or the head nod. Stock and modded, never saw that many evos though.

In the evo i usually get a waved from both, USUALLY. ive had a few suby guys give me bad looks or drive by with a smirk on thier face and i have been ignored by some evo people. either that or they completly did not see me.

This is mostly the case for me as well. Not so much reg WRX owners, as there are so many people who drive base WRX's that are non enthusiasts.

I've came across just as many Evo snobs as I have STi snobs. Because of that...I primarily just counter-wave (wave only after being waved at), unless I know the person.

 

I am one of only a few Evo owners around where I live and very rarely run across them. I find that I regularly get waves from STi's and WRX's, never any rev's. The SRT4 owners, that's a whole nother storey... I've never had so many cars try to get me to race in slow crawling traffic...

The Suby population is out of control around here and there is a local Subaru group that has weekly meets of 15 - 20 cars on average. I just hang out with them every week - great bunch of guys.

It's been my experience that Subie owners always waved (when I had a WRX).

EVO owners wave back like 50% of the time, the other 50% pretend like they don't even see me (maybe they didn't ).

 

see thats my point they see me everyday and i staill wave until one day they will wave back. but for now they havent lol

 

Hrm...srt4s revs. Hondas rev or speed. Sti's says nice cars. I also appriciate their car.

Butt the only thing I don't understand. I ask why sti over evo. Cause it took me 3 good moths to pick. They say "the sound baught me". What???? If sound buys you then srt4 is your friend

 

You cant really make this thread about the cars, it only has to do with the owners of them. If you're a douchebag and own an STI or an Evo you are still going to be a douchebag.

You get revved on by Hondas and similar ricer cars because most of the owners are teenagers. They are cheap cars, you can make them fast enough to beat a Mustang for pretty cheap and then they just think they have the fastest cars on the road.

I wave at every STI and Evo I see. If they dont wave back its no sweat off my sack.

 

for me its sti drivers just look and try out the peace sign and just cruise most off the time but sometimes they gun it after they see me..

 

That's because they need the head start
