Yeah, motorcyclists are where I have had the most response when waving, even from cruiser riders (I used to ride a sportbike). Also from Jeep Wrangler owners; I had almost 100% of other people waving back when I drove a Wrangler for a summer.

I haven't owned the Evo long enough to really see much response, but I have gotten a few head nods. Of course, I've only seen 4 other Evos on the roads in the past 3 weeks.

kind of funny, on my way back to work, a white sti came in front of me, no wave or anything just driving. but then he slowed down on the freeway, so like usual i pass him as i do any other car that drives slower than i do, and then he pulls off in front of me again...wtf. i was just thinkin to myself whats the point a stock sti versus my obviously modded evo...so i let him go and he kept tryin to race, so i decided to gun it to get around him, and after that he backed off hahahahah

It's mixed, some evo owners dont accnowledge me, some do. STI owners either wave or rev, its the srt-4 owners that always rev or bov in my ear

Evo owners for the most part are kewl. They'll flash their lights and wave. One subie, it wasn't a sti, actually flipped me off.

I own a highly modded WRX and just picked up an Evo IX. Both great cars in their own special ways. I assumed EVO owners didn't wave at first, I had been snobbed for my first couple encounters.

Most Evo owners I've seen have given me a wave or flashed there lights. I have had a couple STI owners wave to me too. Had one wave one day and the fiance asked me who it was. I told her I didn't know it was just a car thing and she laughed at me. Had a skittle blow off as he passed me last week when I was in the eclipse (horrible oil leak wont even let it boost more than a couple pounds so I didn't respond with the RFL) I just wished I was in the Evo so I could roll down my rear windows at him

i've only had pleasant experiences with suby drivers, evos on the other hand...don't wait long enough for you to wave before they take off..

I always wave when I see another Evo. However tthere was one time were I stopped at a light nexto to a bby evo 8 here in my area, both of our windows were down, I looked to my right and he kept looking straight which kinda made me feel like I wasnt driving an Evo and like he was ignoring me. I dont like people like that, So i didnt say anything. Then I asked myself, WHY CAnt Evo owners just be friendly to each other? Cuz I am probably one of the most friendly people out there always looking to make new Evo buddies.

The few STIs I've seen around have been reluctant "counter-wavers," only lightening up after I give a at a light or whatever.
