I'm looking into buying a used Evo and right now I'm saving on a down payment so I can get a low monthly payment at the the end. Most of the cars I been looking at are above $20K and some cars have more than 40K miles on them! This is how things usually go, if newer model of a car comes out (Evo X), usually they drop the prices of the previous years so they can start getting rid of the previous stock. When the release of the new Evo comes out, will prices of the EVO 8 and 9's drop? If so, I can spend the rest of the money I save on mods!

get a 05' 8 or 06' 9. With the Active Center Diff. Dont get a 03-04 (like me) unless its really cheap!$17-18,000

 

I don't think the resale of the VIII or IX will be affected.

 

I dont think they will lose their value much if any.

 

everything depreciates in time... shop around and you're bound to find a good deal... dont be impulsive

AND CAN BE PUT BACK TO STOCK VERY EASILY..
