maintenance/service help

I have about 13k on my 05 evo, I heard that I suppose to change the transmission and drive train fluids at around 8k or so, I'm not so sure, I don't autocross my car at all, just a lil boost here and there. is there any maintenance I need to do at this point, thanks

Depending on how your vehicle gets used or how particular you are about maintence you may wish to do this service sooner but the normal service interval for this work is 30,000 miles.

It is advised to change your drivetrain fluids within a couple thousand miles of ownership. Changing them after that depends upon how you drive the car. $120 for labor from RRE. Holy Crap! Do yourself a favor and do all fluid changes yourself. You will have peace of mind and a thicker wallet in the end.

ya DIY Diaqueen from www.mitsubishiparts.net $35.00 for about 3-4 changes worth, redline/BG tranny less then $30.00, gear oil pump $10-15.00, oil change while your at it 5 qts 10w30 mobile 1 from wal mart $19.99. At most for a first timer 1.5 hours. total $100.00 and enough diaqueen for a few more changes. I will never pay anyone labor......
