Well body shops use this giant spinning eraser thing and it works really well to get the goo/ outline off. So maybe try just a big eraser then just wipe in clean.

What about the propeller?

Anyone know if the same technique works to remove the Mitsu propeller? Or does it have a peg or something that will leave a hole?

I have enough propellers on my boats

I had to drive the car to work one day and it sat in 100+ degree weather most of the day. Came home used floss to get it started and easily pulled the badges (glue and all) right off with my fingers . Got a little wax and it was like the badges were never there. As for the propeller thing i don't know if it leaves a hole but i'm leaving mine on.

No the three diamonds, AKA the "propeller thingy" will not leave a hole. it is just like the others. Mine is off, and looks super clean. All I have is the "MR" part left on my trunk. I moved it to the bottom left corner. I like it.

Hmmm thats weird i do it all the time to different cars and i havent had a problem with the eraser...maybe they made too much heat with it....
but whatever sounds like dental floss or fishing line works pretty well
