Braille Auto Light Weight Battery ??? Anyone have this?

Braille Auto Light Weight Battery

I was looking to buy a MINI battery for my evo 8. cause my bat is dead. so i decided this is the best time to upgrade my battery.

I was looking at the AMS performance one and the Buschur one.

which one is the best one?

Or has anyone heard about the Braille Auto Light Weight Battery one?

is it more expensive or anyone know any more reviews. it has 900 cranking amps. and the ams one has like 680 i beilive??

I have the braille battery

I have the braille battery with a custom aluminum bracket, saves 30lbs in the place you need to lose the most weight, thats the plus. The bad is that you can only run it at temperatures above 40 degrees, also it has absolutly no reserve which means you can't listen to the radio with out the car started. I even shut my over head light off, to make sure when I get out of the car it doesn't stay on. Not to mention that the car will not start with the head lights or A/C on, those are the two things I have found so far. I like the weight savings because I like to track the car, if your not looking to get every inch out of your car I suggest sticking with the stock battery. Even if you do decide to go with a light weight battery your still going to end up buying a stock battery if you live some place that gets cold. You make the decision, I don't mind the hassle for the weight savings. hope this helps. Oh and the braille runs around 180 with out a brackett and it weighs 11.5 and the AMS I think is like 230 it weighs 14.6. If you want I can get you the brackett but its like 150 or so I cant remember, I got a really good deal because I am friends with the guy making them. To me 3.1lbs isn't worth the money and I would have got the AMS if I wasn't getting such a great deal. If you want I can take picture of what it looks like in the car. PM me if your intersted or have any questions.

Maybe you should call Braille and ask for a replacement. From my research, I've found many people in subzero temps starting their cars with no problems with Braille batteries.
