Question Walboro fuel pump.

Yes I've searched but I've read a million different things about the Walboro 255 fuel pump. 3 things I should expect when installed and don't say it's noisy!

If your going to run one fuel pump you might as well get the modified fuel pump from bushur racing, and I think the other company that has it is fp. So if you decided to run a larger turbo your fuel pump should be good up to 600 whp.

Well I was thinking of upgrading to the 10.5 hotside turbo because that's what's in my financial grasp right now. I'm living and learning with the Evo. Just trying to do alittle at a time. Thanks Mines!

Stick with the original fp. Wasn't there some big fiasco on nasioc about buschar's fp's being a ****tier pump.

Are you just looking for basic info on it?? Im not sure exactly what youre asking but its NOT noisy at all....not even more audible than the stocker...it prob will never overheat due to the fact that its in-tank. And its good for god knows how more horsepower...probably more than 400-450hp.

yeah since I put mine in it has a whine. But haven't had any problems so far, knock on wood

I'm surprised you don't have one, considering all the mods. It's a must especially with the '03 evos. I think warraloton posted something 'bout this. Where r u Warraloton?

If you have a modded 8 a Wally 255 is essential. The install is pretty straight forward, just kinda a pain to get the housing out at first.

I have one along witrh the "usual" mods. doesnt whine or anything, i mean it makes a small bit a noise but no more than it should. Did you install the noise dampening rubber grommet correctly? Its the last peice on the bottom of the pump before you click it in to the plastic housing
