another boost problem

So a while back I was having the problem of not being able to boost more than 14lbs. I added a manual boost controller to fix this problem. Now the car at WOT will go to 14lbs for a second and then spike well above 25lbs it maybe more thats just where I let off. I have put two different boost controllers on and they both do the same thing. Is it my waste gate maybe? I routed my line from the turbo outlet to my boost controller and back to the waste gate.

Yikes- I'd check the vacuum that's coming out on that control line.

Sounds like its not able to actually lock the wastegate shut or maybe the BOV is leaking?

You probably routed the boost hoses wrong. What brand of MBC did you get?

Wish I could help, I had the opposite problem and it was because I had the hallman nozzles on the wrong ends. One of them has a little pin sized hole in it. But that would make it spike first and then quickly drop to 14psi.

Try swapping the lines, checks for leaks at connections, check for kinks/binds.. Try those things, and we can go from there..
