HKS SS BOV Question...
If this is in the wrong section please move to correct one.
I am interested in buying the HKS SS BOV kit for my evo IX. Do I need the recirculation kit? I read on lancershop.com that the car will run rich and stall when the clutch is engaged coming into a stop and my friend with an evo VIII said he never had that problem. So what should I do?

Some guys have luck with them not making their car stall, others are not so lucky. Save your money to buy something else. You won't need an aftermarket bov unless your pushing gobs of boost. If it's the sound your looking for, there are other ways of getting some noise out of the stocker.

i had one on my car and it wasnt bad. i had a couple of stall issues with it. it really started stalling when i put my k&n intake on. i just took it to the tuner and raised my rpm a bit and it helped. i put my forge back on because i was getting tired of hearing that noise. next im getting a tial. and if youre looking for the swoosh noise, just put an open air intake like k&n and you will get the noise youre looking for, maybe just not as loud
