S2K Antenna doesn't fit very well????

I don't notice any difference in reception between the stock antenna and the honda element. Keep in mind I live in the city, so if you live out in the country somewhere the reception might be different.

I had an '03 GSR before my IX MR and the S2K antenna fit the same way on both cars. It didn't quite seat all the way to the base, so I took a dremmel and shaved the threads down a little bit. Fits perfectly now. I also have an Element. I'll try to see how it's antenna fits the Evo tonight after work, just for comparison.
