5w-30 or 10w-30

I am doing my oil change today and yesterday i bought 5 quarts of 5w-30 fully synthetic mobile 1. I read on the forums that 10w-30 should be used i think but when i was looking for 10w, it was saying that it is used for higher milage cars. I am at 3,000 miles. Should i use the 5w-30 or switch for the 10w-30.

Thanks

in the summer you use 10w30 because its hotter so thicker is better. in the cooler fall winter temps you use 5w30 because it isnt as hot so thinner is ok. yeah so definitely exchange the oil depending on your location and temps.

it is 10w-30 and for below 0 degreee farinheit temperature weather it is 5w-30.
Mitsu comes with 10w-30 when you take it off the lot. and It is in your evo manual.
you should only use 5w-30 if you live in like harsh cold weather.

No, infact some say that is the better oil because of the additives. Some like to use the Mobile 1 Extended Performance
