Don't be sorry for a bad first post - just don't make the thread. The rules require that you 1) search, and 2) use the newbie forum for newbie questions.
There is no answer to your question, because you didn't specify:
1) dyno type
2) correction factor
3) weather conditions
4) altitude
5) octane
The MR designation is not relevant. MRs make the same power as other models in the same model year. The power differences between VIIIs and IXs is well-documented.

You can say that again!!!
No, not all Evo 8s dyno the same. 03/04s are different from 05s, but only 05s have MRs. Need to be specific and not say "Evo 8." Also, my 05 MR made 250whp stock. These numbers are too vague...

230whp for a stock Evo IX MR on a Dyno Dynamics which is a dynamometer. 250whp for a stock Evo IX MR on a Dynojet which is an accelerometer. Dyno #'s are scattered because of the dyno type, gas type, and the weather conditions/correction factors. The 8 MR puts down a bit less power to the wheels, not exactly sure how much less. Don't get hung up on dyno #'s though, everyone's are going to be different.
