Doing my 1st oil change on my evo 8, went to the dealer they said 90 bucks for an oil change? I rather just do it my self. Just had a few questions?


1. Stick with factory oil or go Heavier? 10w30 or? ( its completely stock)

2. OEM filter and change the washer?

3. Stick with mobil 1? or royal purple? or amsoil?

you can pay me $90 and i'll do it for yah.. you gotta drive it here to my shop (garage) in tx though. lol!

 

I'm still looking for a place that has redline oil.....i'm using royal purple. stock filter, and do it myself.

 

just order it on line if you have to...its worth the money

 

10-30 mobile but it burns quick it put a quart in evry 2 weeks....

 

you better get that checked out. mitsu says 1quart burned every 1000 miles is acceptable.

 

Maybe he drives 1000miles every 2 weeks
