Fatty!

Hey, i was wondering what makes the Evo IX lighter then the VIII?

Wiki:

Evo IX: 1310 kg (2888 lb)–1400 kg (3086 lb)
Evo VIII: 1320 kg (2910 lb)–1410 kg (3109 lb)

Is the front end just lighter or?

Aluminum. "Aircraft Metal" is just a sales ploy since Aluminum is used in tons of stuff anymore.

The valve cover is Magnesium, though.

And I thought the standard IX and VIII had all the same aluminum parts, and it was just the MR that got the aluminum roof, but they all still had aluminum fenders and aluminum hoods.
