It is kinda funny that you made this post because i happen to be 20 years old and had to make the same decisions (and what do you know my name is Andy too). It is a real tough job affording the car with the insurance and the monthly payments (if you dont pay it all off at once). I have a full time job and pretty much all my money goes to the car. In short it is a very big chance to take if you dont have a stable job and you are really dedicated to taking care of the car.

Well if your gonna leave it stock. Car is safe all around. Handling is off the hook and the speed is there if you need it. Also awd. BUt if you wanna make it even faster than what it is. Good Luck. you will just be working for a car payment and ins payment. Your too young to be stressing about car issues. Worry more about getting laid I say.

Wow, after reading all this, makes me wonder if i'm gonna make it out of my car loan alive!!! I just bought my EVO 8 last month, I'm 22.

Making around $50k a year would definatley spare you some! It's possible to do with less though.

Hey, but most of these guys are right, definatley depends on how responsible you are. Rent, full coverage insurance, car payment, food, premium gas, maintenance, money to go out.... list goes on and on and on... not to mention saving money for other future plans too.
