Hello all, I just wanted to post a quick hello. I just bought a used Graphite Gray Evo IX MR and will be going to pick it up Monday! I am quite excited about it, I have been looking at the Evo for two years now and finally the opportunity presented itself, so here I am!

The car is used but unmodded as far as I can tell, and has just 24,000 miles on it. I am currently driving a Nissan Altima SE-R with the 6-speed manual and I'm not sure if I'll be keeping the Altima or selling it, I guess we'll see. I don't plan to do any mods to the Evo for some time, I just want to enjoy driving it!

Once I get the car I'll try and post pics, but I'm not sure I have enough posts yet to do so... (although I know you have all seen enough pics of the Evo so probably don't need to see more)

 

i hope u test drove this car if not thats a poor choice for a used car, who knows the abuse on the t-case or sumthing

 

I'm buying it from a dealer out of town, so I'm driving it to look at it Monday. Of course I'm going to test drive it before I take it home! It's not like it's the first used car I have ever bought. I do know what signs of abuse to look for - for the most part - but you are right, transmission abuse is sometimes not as easy to detect...
