okay i replaced the drivers side back tire and i wanted to know if it was going to mess up the differential in the car and what if put a new tire on the other side of the car with the same exact tire? let me know peoples im worried

 

What would happen if you put the spare on in place of the bad tire?

Turn a corner and the outside tires have to travel farther than the inside tires. The little gears in the differential spin to compensate for this difference. Also, the front of the car will describe a larger arc than the rear meaning the front tires travel farther than the rears. So, the little gears in the center differential spin. Drive over a bump and first the front tires travel farther than the rears and then a split second later the situation is reversed. The gears that compensate for these differences are moving all of the time while you are underway.

If you install a tire of different diameter than the others the differential gears will also spin to compensate for this. It is just a matter of adding additional wear.
