catch can?

how come i dont see alot of people running catch cans in there car?? i just put one on and i know they are a nice piece.. explain please? do u need one on an evo?

i had a srt4 and U really needed one on those cars!

yes you need one if you dont want any oil in your intake,i have an agp oil catch can and i am very happy with it,it works and its very easy to install it go check it out at agpturbo.com

No you don't need one on an evo, you need 2.

I am right at 300 WHP, 23 psi of boost and have never had oil in my intake.....don't feel I need a catch can.

You dont need one; but it can help you keep your intake pipe, turbo and LICP clean. You might not see blow by in a car with low miles, however it can accumulate as time goes by. I put in a catch can when i changed my MAF pipe, LICP, UICP, and my Intecooler. I think its a good safety mod.

I think if you drive hard for long periods of time then its probably a good idea. And when I say drive hard, I mean doing track days otherwise they are probably not going to see much blow by.

if your car is pretty much stock and you drive slow there is no need for catch cans.

Its needed with higher boost levels for sure but its a cheap safeguard for a stocker. Its one of those add-ons that help over time but you might not see results monthly

You can get a great disposable one at any auto parts store for less then 3 dollars.

Everyone is gonna have some amount of blowby, weather a lil or a lot. Might as well have one.
