Buying Used Lancer Evolution IX

I'm looking to buy a used Lancer Evolution IX, but I really haven't done too much research yet and would like to hear from you guys about the price range for each mileage range. Also, I'm 19 and would like to know about how much my insurance would cost, and how I might be able to bring that down by other means. Thanks!

i dont know how close this is. buy it new if you can though. i think sti's are easier to come by. same **** depending on your goals. both real nice cars. evonick 3100 is a lot of money for insurance. i commend you on your dedication. i'm 32 and pay about $1000 a year for mine.

just put your parent as the owner of the vehicle, and put them as 90% of times ( they will drive the vehicle more then you do ) put yourself as 10% of times. IF your parents are excellent drive ( 5 to 10 0r more, no accident or any ticket ) Then your insurance will be really cheap.

or pick up a real cheap beater and put it as your primary car and the evo as your pleasure/weekend car.
