Diaqueen.

Hey, I just came back from the dealership and I got some diaqueen. They said front and rear diff, but I can't remember if they told me to also put it in the T-Case. Also, they couldn't give me the manual tranny fluid...so, should I do what they said and grab a couple bottles and bring it to them? Or is there something I could buy at like AAP?

Also, they said there is two fluids. SAE-75 or SAE-85 ...how do I know which one? I have a 2003 GSR.

Just get the diagueen from the dealer for the tc and the rear diff. It is the same fuild.

You are like me, 03 evo, you will need to take a container up there that will hold 3 quarts and ask them to fill that up.

They only have our tranny fuild in 5 gal buckets.

Thank you. Yeah, my dealership too. Now just to get a funnel and a clean container, don't want to use the ones I have for oil or anything.

considering your front diff in located inside the transfer case - yes, you got the right stuff.

Go to autozone and pick up a clean container and a fluid transfer pump.

That is what I did and it has made the job very easy.

you can also buy it from the service department in a 6 quart container... it might be 5 quarts... it's around $100 but will last you a long time.

and, as mentioned, the TC and the front diff are together, changing the TC fluids will mean you are hanging the front diff.

For tranny fluid, i personally use RedLine MT90... its an OEM replacement fluid. You can get thicker if you do a lot of hard driving, otherwise it has worked better than the OEM fluid for me.

I believe with the 5 speed trannys they only come in a huge bucket. For the 6 speed tranny and lsd fluid you can buy them in small jugs. Most people use the 6 speed fluid in the 5 speed without issue though.

Yep, I have been using this in my car for about 4 years now. Works great...do a search and look at the reviews versus other brands.

I used the BG sycroshift in my tranny last month. To me, it feels exactly the same to as the oem stuff. In fact when i went to the dealership to buy the oem fluid for the tranny, they recommended the BG fluid since they couldn't sell me qt bottles and i didnt want to spend that much money on a bucket of oil. The dealer told me it was ok for the warranty since they use it too.
