I need some pointers on how to take care of my evo i want to know if how long do i have to wait till i turn off the car,how often i should check my oil stuff like that

 

if u need to know this kind of things, u should of did some research before u got ur evo.

typically 30sec to a minute at idle to let it cool down.

check ur oil at every change around 5000 to 7500 miles depending on ur driving conditions and type of oil used and this applies to all vehicles usually.

stuff like that it all depends what stuff ur talking about.

just do a search and u should find the answers ur looking for.

pretty sure the oil chage is 3000 miles on evos, and only use mobil 1. and the tires will go at about 7K and tranny fluid at about 15K

It's an interesting comment regarding the (arguably) best street tires available today and the car they were designed for.

 

Check your oil every time you fill up. Every oil change are you nuts! So many things could happen between 5k and 7k. There is typical oil burn off and if you drive you car hard this effect snow *****. Not to make you paranoid or anything but every fill up is the best idea.
