I'm a n00b !

Hey everyone ! I'm new to the forums and relatively new to the world of Evos.
I have had my car for about five months now and have a few questions.
So far I have Apexi high flow air filter and cold box, turbo back exhaust (with stock catalyst), Hallman Pro Boost Controller, Defi Boost guage, AEM wide band O2, and Apexi turbo timer.
Ok now for my questions !
1. Cams? I would like to get a set of cams but not have to do any major valve train work. Any idea or suggestions for cams????
2. Springs or coil overs? (I know our suspension is really good stock but wasn't sure if coil overs would make that much a diff over just springs)
3. Tune it myself with Open ecu, or take it somewhere? And who to take it to?

Thanx in advance guys for the advice ! Hope I get to know you all ! Take care have a good one !

Im not to sure on the cams, but i know theres HKS 272 many people run and GSC
As for springs, very god brand is Swift, it will soften the ride, made it a nice lower look and provide better handling.
I would definitely take it to a pro tuner who know what their doing on EVOS (not saying you dont because who am i to judge you) But go to the regional forums and ask if anyone near you is good. Sometimes you have to take a drive. So look for quality, not for the nearest

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
1. GSC or HKS
2. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=314223
2a. For a daily driver coil-overs are overkill in my opinion. I am getting Swifts and shelfing my coil-overs (I have a ton of driving to do these days - springs work better for this application). PS Swifts are stiffer than stock not softer. (OE: 180/225, Swifts: 269/319)
3. That depends on you and how much you want to read/learn. For a first time tune Id just say e-tune (Mellon) or go to a good shop that is approved of here.

with 264 cams you should not have to upgrade anything for them and there are a few 272 sets out there that says its recommend but not required if u dont have the extra cash. With 272 i would proble just do it ::IMO::
