i was in the same boat. I loved the look of both. I decided to go w the Megan because of the awesome price w zeus and ttp engineering. To me a 3 inch exhaust is 3 inch exhaust. And the Megan is a true 3 inch. I think the quality on mine is just as good or better than any of the top exhausts out there. Polished, great welds, sound, fitment, looks.

ive never had the tanabe but i had the megan it was fine sound was ok and you really cant say anything bad about it for the price im sure the other exhaust is great

 

man exhausts for the evo are so expensive.

 

u guys are spending all that money on a car and ur worried about a couple hundred bucks.

 

never installed ether but going on sound alone tanabe would be my choice
