Ingnition base map for a stroker

Ingnition base map for a stroker

I've done some research and gathered information about stroker ignition tuning, although there's really not much of it. And based on that I've tried to make a safe base map to start tuning my car and I attached a picture of what I've got. This is my first time doing this, so I thought it would be nice if some more experienced people could comment on what I've got - is it safe to start tuning from that base map?

My mods:
2.3 stroker
272 cams
Evogreen
780 injectors
TBE

Well that map will definitely be safe, but its actually going to run to the far right of the last load column (260). A MAF 2.3 with Green will run somewhere around 300-330 load depending on intake around 25psi. You'll most likely need to rescale to get the map where you need it to be.

It is safe to start from though yes.

Thanks, John. I have just one more question about rescaling - what values should there be in the columns from 260 to 330? Should I start from the current values in the 260 load column and just gradually decrease them further?

You can start your rescaling from moving your original scale:
0 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100 120 140 160 180 200 220 240 260
To this:
0 20 40 60 80 100 120 140 160 180 200 220 240 260 280 300 320 340

Yeah something like Vigman posted will be good to go. I normally cut out alot of the mid range stuff that car never uses like 10,20,100-140, sometimes 180-220 (depends on turbo and MAF or SD).
