there is nothing wrong with the older models. Were all just saying 06 because so far its best and foremost mod friendly. The older models are sweet as well!! Let me just say that ALL EVOS are good each with its distinctiveness.

any year is fine..all that matters is how it was maintained

06 is more mod friendly since it has MIVEC...more responsive to power mods

i've heard other arguments for other year evos. depends what you're looking for.

do some searching, each year and model evo has something different from the other...like acd, mivec, stock hids, 5 or 6 speed, sun roof, aluminum roof, radio, etc.

the turbo kt for your TC is way too expensive. lol

06 with as little miles on it as possible.

http://orlando.craigslist.org/car/521016478.html

Car had 29k miles, still under warranty, it's a GSR with the SSL package. absolutely BEAUTIFUL and a great deal - I bought it on the spot from the guy. He paid almost 36k++ brand new just 2 years ago.

All for $25k - A STEAL!

you can get an older model which will allow you to use the extra cash for modding or you can get a newer model and prolly have better peace of mind regarding miles
