having a hard time finding a bov.. i heard about the problems about the vta bovs so kinda wanna stay away from those.. but i do want a bov that has a nice sound to it!!! just dont know what one to choose! i really do like the sound they make.. can anyone help me.. what bov has a good sound to it and doesnt have the problems like the vta bovs have?
If you want sound try an open element filter the stock IX DV is a pretty good piece.when i put my intake on my IX the Stock IX DV became pretty loud kinda like an aftermarket BOV without the headaches.
heard teh stock plastic leaks.. thats why i wanna ditch it.. also i do plan on putting some power to my IX and heard the IX jdm mr dv cant hold high boost..
what about the works dv?? heard it can hold up to 30psi!

I'm running the Go Fast Bits-Stealth FX bov. IMO It works and sounds great. It is fully adjustable from vta to recirc. The spring tension is also adjustable. I run mine at 50% vta without any noticable drawbacks between the stock bov and the GFB bov. Shifting, spool, performance, and tuning all feel the same. Even if it is set at full recirc, it still has a noticably louder, crisper blow off. I've ran it up to 28psi without any leaks.
Here is a link for it. I'm sure you can find it elsewhere, I just grabbed this one.

Why does everyone call it a "JDM IX" metal diverter valve? The last time I checked, ALL the Evo 9's had metal valves. The JDM-yo hype should have stopped when they started using metal valves here on the US market cars.
