so when does the evo x light turn on when its time to refuel...12 gallons in or what???

It seem more like just a little over 11 gallons your fuel will beep and the gas pump light will start to flash. seem a little early to me but it better than running out .

PS , the GM 6 spd was a joke . it was soley for highway use and you couldnt get the car to maintain speed under about 60mph. it was to tall for the motors. now if your on the highway at 80mph the gear was great and the car just loped along. I drive 90% city so I never used the 6th in my TA hardly could even use 5th for that matter . to me the perfect setup would be a 6spd with 4:11 rear end then you could actually drive the car.

According to the specs in Canada, for the SST, it's 12.2L/100km City and 9.1L/100km Highway, so that's 19mpg City 26mpg Highway, not bad, better than an 08 STI. The MT gets 18mpg City 26mpg Highway. I thought manual was supposed to do better.

hmmmm for my average its up and down.

im mostly a freeway guy, go to work 4 times a week, which is 80 miles round trip so about 320 miles a week for sure, then theres school and girlfriend about twice a week soo average about 350-380 miles weekly for me.

my previous srt4 would take me to work and back at least 3 times

but the evo takes me round trip only twice and maybe just enough to go back to work one more time without refueling.

orange county california to - upland "inland empire" california

i drive the car fairly slow and rarely gun it if i have to speed up on the highway,

city wise after driving around for at least 5 minutes
16.5 at the lowest "so it says on the screen" and 18.5 at its highest

freeway, 19.9 at the lowest but after driving for about 5-10 minutes.
average 23.3 i see that number a lot and the most i ever saw was 26.3

hmm and after i refuel my screen tells me maximum i can go is 280 miles all the time, thought i would hit at least 300? but then again when my fuel tank is low...after my screen says "30 miles" left for gas, it starts blinking and says refuel like on "empty"

but thats my poor example of my average

I am getting 26.5 mpg using cruise now that the engine is broke in (1000 miles) Doing 75-80 mph. The highway has only small hills and in 5th gear.

I think I have a fuel leak.... My worse MPG has been in the 8 range and the average is hovering around 13 . I've never seen over 20!

the MR should be better, an extra cog right, but a tad more weight... wish the tank was a bit larger.... im in the same boat with "SRT4 to EVO X" in my 80 mile round trip, id hate to refuel every 3 days!!!

how is N789 averaging 26? tahts great, better than my wifes CRV... id be happy with that

The first tank I got 25 mpg. I don't trust the DIC, so I just do the math myself...since then, 2 tanks and we've averaged right around 22 mpg. Mostly city driving. Seems to be about the same as our IX MR.

When I got the car till now it was averaging about 20mpg. I did the cone filter mod. Oddly enough I get 22 mpg. What's odd is, now that I hear the turbo spool and BOV, I step on it harder to hear it and still netted better mileage.
