Just found this site after picking up the X last weekend. New to the 4 banger world, been a die hard V8 fan forever. Before you bash, I get it from the Hot Rodders already. I'm here to learn, meet people and choose mods. Peace...

 

nice move, evolutionm.net is by far the biggest evo forum out there, if you are looking to mod your car, a lot of companies have already cracked the x for about 100whp with easy mods, check out ams's section of the forum, or turbotrix good luck, its a great car

Thanks Guys. I loved my daily driven 08 Lancer GTS and had to trade it in when the EVO hit the Midwest. Wish the GSR had all the bells and whistles the MR is gonna get, but I love the 5 speed.

 

V8's are nice but beating one with a 1/3 of the displacement just puts a smile on my face every time. i don't know if you have checked but AMS is already putting out some nice pieces for the X

Considering that was my plan all along, not bad. The dealer wouldn't negotiate from MSRP on the GSR so I had to barter with the GTS. No resale value is posted on NADA, KBB or even Mitsubishi on line yet. I think I lost a bit in the trade, but I look at it like I was renting it untill the EVO came out anyway. So it was definately cheaper than AVIS. LOL.
