A evo under 20g is more than likely going to be a 03...MAYBE a 04 and it's gonna have high miles (50k+ or so).

Look at http://www.autotrader.com/ or http://www.cars.com/go/index.jsp
Wait until you find the evo that you want. Do your homework. Go for a test drive. Good luck.

Trust me i don't think u will find what u are looking for that price. So do this save up some more for a couple of years and then u could afford a evo with some lower miles. For how much u want to spend u are going to have a lot of miles on the car. but good luck hope u can find one for cheap with few miles

You could find a DSM for a decent price...it will take time however.

For 300 a month and around 20k be prepared for a long-term finance (5 or 6 years). You're going to have to put money down to make that work.

As people said you might find something with at least 50-60k miles, maybe an 03.

What is the sales tax in your area? How good is your credit? Your best bet is to buy it through a private seller and get a loan from your bank.

Because even if you find an Evo for 20k on the dot, it'll be 24-25ish OTD with taxes and dealer fees.

Even at 23k though, you'd have to put around 7k down (and good credit) to even get payments at 300 for 72 months.

Even then you'd practically be just giving the dealer money

But why aim for such low and long payments? Ideally you want to pay as much as you can for payments for short term loans and pay less interest...

I would say save up a little bit more, because your search is going to be rough, anything under 20k, which is unlikey to even find that, and if u do, its probably been beat hard, and has alot of miles, if you cant afford the evo, maybe its not for you right now.
