question on 0-60

I'm looking at purchasing a 2006 Evo MR with quite a bit of upgrades done to it.

How much faster can I expect this to me as opposed to the stock evo MR?

It says it's got

EVC computer
Full Stanless Exhaust System
Stainless Headers
Intake
Intercooler Pipes (Mandrel Bend)
Down Pipe
Super Sequential Blowoff Valve
Upgraded Ignition
Oilcap
Silicone Hoses
Pop Charger Filter

AEM computer
Exedy Performance Clutch
720 CC Injectors
Optima Performance Battery
Upgraded Turbocharger
Carbon Fiber Strut Bar
Turbo Timer
AEM Wide Band oxygen system
Apexi Fuel Meter
Brembo Oversized Brakes

It says it has over 335 hp.

I don't know much about performance upgrades and what they mean.

Can anybody shed some light on how fast this car may be like 0-60 or quarter mile or something?

Oh, and most of the parts listed are HKS parts. They didn't specify what kind of turbo upgrade it is.

Hard to say, you need to find out what turbo is on the car.

I think the best advice I could give you is do a lot more research before you jump into buying an evo. I wouldnt be as concerned about how fast the car is going to be, but more so about how the car was maintained, driven, who installed the parts, what boost is he running on what tune, what turbo is on the car...etc.

Hard to tell especially with some of the features being vague. For eg. Full Stainless Exhaust System is fine and everything but what kind or size? A full swap out with a system the same diameter as stock isn't going to be a power getter. Also, that's a pretty hefty list for 335. Which would be even more odd if it's 335 on a dyno jet. Honestly, I'd recommend to you to look elsewhere. If you're new to upgrades and performance parts as you say, it's better to get something more on the stock side of things and learn as you grow with your car. That's what I'm doing. I've had my car for nearly 2 years now and I'm still working on upgrading my driving and understanding of my car rather than parts. A used car with a lot of mods (especially cars like Evo's) are more likely to have been abused. Just my 0.02c. Good luck with whatever you choose. As for exact numbers for 1/4 miles or 0-60 times; that's way too subjective. I don't think anyone can give you a reliable answer on that one.

Thanks for the advice, unfortunately there's really no way to find this out from the dealer. Maybe i should ask if he has contact from the previous owner.

Also, it has an oversized front mount intercooler.

I mean, the guy obviously had money to put into it, so it's probably a decent turbo upgrade.

It's only got 6,000 miles on it, so my guess is it was a project car.

Thanks for the tip lords... I just know I'm going to want to mod whatever evo i get, and with the car payment i'll have I was looking for an already modded evo, with less than 10k miles on it. And I found the rare deal of it only having 6,000 miles on it.

Did you run a carfax report on it yet? Also, did the seller say anything about suspension upgrades? (Other than the strut bar) What of the clutch? With more torque comes more clutch wear. The stocker (if that's what still in it) most likely has very little life left in it. Also, you may want to ask about the transfer case and transmission. It may have been rebuilt. Perhaps a TTP or Shep rebuild. Which is far from a bad thing mind you, but if it wasn't, I'd be concerned of the condition of the stock internals on those parts. Dealing with bad syncros and gears is no fun. I'm not trying to discourage you btw, just letting you know of some of the things I'd consider off the top of my head. If it's a good deal for you and it's what you want, then go for it. You may even be able to haggle the price a bit based on the fact that it's not stock. Are they going to warranty it by any chance?

this is what i need, some more experienced questions to ask the person im buying from.

I listed what he sent me.

The Clutch is an Exedy performance clutch. So that's good.

As far as rebuild, i have no idea.

I am going to try to get the contact of previous owner.

Thank you so much, again I really appreciate all this help. Nice to find a good forum already.

Sounds like someone built the car, damaged it, fixed it for quick sell.

My suggestion: Get an engine oil sample from the car and send it off to be analyzed.

Have you taken the car for a test drive? I know this wasn't your question but if you buy this car I would imagine you are going to spend a lot of time learning about the care and feeding of a modified Evo. If your looking to get an education the hard way then by all means jump in, just fair warning.
