getting a new evo

ok so i was wondering for the best buck for the best hp for the best evo what evo should i get? i've looked at the new ones but i've heard they have tranny problems so i was wondering what evo i should get.. thanks

i've just heard that some evo's have had some tranny problems.. keyword "heard"

The only tranny problems I have "heard" of, and this is coming from a newbie who heard this on Supraforums, is that the 2003 and 2004 Evo's with the open front differentials were prone to tearing up the spider gears.......

You are probably referring to the tranny problems that MR's tend to have sometimes.

+1 ON THAT....I HAD SOME TRANNY TROUBLES WITH MY VIII...NOW I DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT...CAUSE SHE'S DEAD

If you are a good driver, your tranny will be fine. You beat the sh;t out of it, its going to do the same to your wallet.
