Lightbulb EvoM I need your advice! Chime on in!

So I was browsing around autotrader and cars.com, I havent come across any EVO 9 / MR that goes around 25k. I just recently saw one ad that listed an EVO 9 SE for 30k under 15k mileage. I gave an offer at 25k. I was wondering if that was a low ball or not?

The other question is how much should I be paying for a EVO 9 under 15k mileage. And a Evo 9 MR under 15k. Is 25k a low ball to the dealer?

I'm located in the OC. So demands are high (Mitsu salesman said) -___- But I have been seeing a lot of people trading in their 9 for the X. I just dont know how to bargain.

Hopefully EvoM you guys can give me some tip.

From what I understand, demand is high right now for the IX since the X is on a new platfom. I think the prices for a used IX will be over-inflated until the market has some more Evo X's in it, and people stop freaking out about whether or not the X will be good enough. So yeah, between 25-30k is about right.

$25k is a fair offer. $30k for a Evo 9 w/ 15000 miles is just too much IMHO.

You should try browsing the 'For Sale' forums for used Evo's. You'll always find great deals there.

that car usually goes for around 26-27 depending on condition. 25 seems kind of low but 26 plus ttl would seem like a doable offer.

Wow, i didnt expect to get replies right away. Thanks for your guys opinion. Should I wait til the X MR and more X come out before purchasing one, so that the price would drop? And also what should i be looking for before buying a used 9 from a private dealer?

I'm just fed up with my Civic right now, especially summer is around the corner. No a/c FTL! and bumpy ride FTL!

Dealers in SoCal here have all these no haggle tags on their ad and they wont budge. I even told them i will buy it for 25k cash and they just reject it. Maybe i should just wait til the end of the month til they get desperate? haha =]

If they do take a plunge, how much is the plung going to differ? Anyone that would know?

I would keep looking, but if I pay 29,000 for an 06 evo IX MR with 9k on it, is that a good deal?
