Hi guys, just signed up here to tell you guys what I think about the Evo! I currently drive a stock 6 speed 2005 Pontiac GTO. I love the car and it's a lot of fun.

A friend of mine has a 2006 Evolution MR with a few minor bolt ons. Yesterday we switched cars for a little bit just to see how we liked each others cars. I really did not expect the car to feel as fast as it did. I liked the way the clutch and shifting felt. Seats were supportive. Handling was amazing, definately way more nimble and quicker around the corners than the GTO. I loved when the turbo spooled up and just made the car pull like crazy. These cars are definately completely different monsters. It was my first chance to actually drive some Jap muscle! I have a new respect for these cars. That's all!

I'd take the GTO over any Mustang! Love the body style, very sleek! nice sounding exhaust too! But I'm real partial to the sound of the turbo when it's spooling up

 

He liked it but said he'd rather keep the Evo. I'm the same way, I'd rather keep the GTO. Both cars are good in certain aspects, couldn't go wrong with either!

Yup the evo does that I drove my boys evo and 4 days later I sold my M3 and brought a 2006 evo IX

 

They're a lot of fun... I recently got a C6 and I just wish it felt as nimble in the corners.

 

same with m buddy and me.....he has a GTO 6.0

he never knew how much power evos really had until we hit the highway together............he has traded it in for a 350Z now so he can better keep up with me............HAHA IN THE STRAIGHTAWAYS maybe......but ill be sure to add in some twisties to show him
