Just wanted to say hello to everyone, I have been reading this forum for the last two weeks and have found so many helpful topics and wanted to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge.

Just got back from flying to Glendale, Arizona from Ohio to pickup my '09 Lancer GTS with Sun & Sound and navigation. After getting my car, we drove to the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas, up through Utah into Colorado over Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana and finally back into Ohio. The car now has 2700 miles on it.

Not sure if this is the right spot to ask this but maybe someone can point me in the right direction. I've read over the oil change information for the new lancer and was wondering if the oil filter is the same number for the '09's as the ‘08’s considering the '09 GTS is a 2.4L and the '08 is a 2.0L.

How bad did the front get damaged from all that driving?

 

Also, what % tint is that?

 

The front has no damage at all, cleaned it the next day and saw no chips or anything.

As for the tint, I am not sure, was like that when I bought it. Talked to a couple people here and they said it looked legal in Ohio.
