Has anyone else noticed a pretty nasty loss of gas mileage with the installation of the AEM CAI?

Right now I am getting about 22mph. And that just plain sucks.

You definately have more than just the CAI.

I need to work on getting more HP and hopefully a bit better mph. Argh gas going soo fast.

oh yeah. i forget.

how many miles you got on your car? these cars run a little rich and would have thought that adding a CAI might better your MPG as they suck in a lot more air than stock with their larger piping.

as a suggestion, running new sparkplugs and/or wires should get you a little better mpg, sparkplugs being the first to do. also backing out the mixture screw on your MAS will lean out the car at a relatively safe level. when i did that, by the time i changed my plugs they weren't as black as most people have posted (way back when this place was lancerforums.com )

Damn Sharpie, you got a really nice camera!
That's one of the most detailed pics I've seen in a long time.
Nice intake by the way.

The picture is actually half of the original resolution. I took that picture at 1600x1200. Obviously that would be a bit too big for posting on this site.

I am at 28000 miles. I have been doing my own oil changes, and I think I need to do more than just that at 24,000 and 27,000 miles.

Also I should update my registry profile to include pictures of my car.
