Yeah you're probably right about steak-I'm in desperate need of some coffee right now. I've already been at work for 3 hours!

Well, I'd like to completely modify it into an Evo 7 but I have a really good warranty on it, so I'm waiting fo a little while. Any suggestions on what I should start with? I was thinkin' cat-back exhaust. Then I'll lower it and put 13" chrome rims on it. HA HA! Just kiddin'

I'd start with changing your plans, personally. It's not very practical or cost effective to make an Evo out of your Lancer. Do a search for engine swaps and conversions if you want to have a realistic idea of what you'd be in for. If anything, I'd suggest shooting for a turbocharger FWD beast. At least it's comparatively inexpensive, and the mods you make will be MUCH less complicated than swapping in a 4g63, new tranny, AWD, etc... Besides that...Why pretend you're driving something you're not? At the same time...not my car. Don't mean to disrespect your wishes for your car. Good luck with whatever you do.

Thanks for the advice, I really like the car as it is-realistically I just want to add a bit of power. Modifying it to Evo standards would be ridiculously expensive, so I'll wait till I'm rich and famous then I'll buy an Evo 804(or whatever model will be out by then!) Besides, AWD wouldn't be all that practical for the driving I do.

AWD is practical for eeeverbody! Gotta love the added traction no matter the circumstances. Maybe not necessary, but I wouldn't go so far as saying impractical.
