I hate statements like this. Ill admit that many younger kids are wreckless but stereotyping a whole age group is retarded. I am 18 and hate street racing. I love going around a track its so much more skill involved. So saying no 18 yo is worthy imo is a stupid thing to say. how many 20+ evo drivers you think street race Id bet quite a bit do. Its not really about age but about the individual
and damn 500 for insurance is insane.
Im paying 120 a month

I paid 100 a month on the Evo (18 year old )
I pay 105 a month on the Porsche (21 year old)

Believe me if I could afford an MR that's definately what I would get no questions asked. But the STI just has alot of what I want the GSR doesn't. So in General I like the EVO more but it's all the little things the STI has to offer.....

Does it seem to be a common occurence that EVOs are so much less than STIs on insurance? I just got off the phone with progressive and comprehensive on the EVO will only run me $80 and the STI $170 monthly. Doesn't really make sense as they both share alot of the same features. Perhaps there's some underlying stats that knock up rates on STIs like theft? Thanks

Ya finding one's definately not a problem. I actually am really interested in a white one 3 or 4 hours from here. But I'm also interested in a white STI 3 or 4 hours from here. Like I said they're just so evenly matched in qualities that it's gonna come down to the wire for me. i should be picking one up alte next week though if everything goes right.

I'm only paying 56/month full coverage (336/6months). Its cheaper for me now than it is for my RSX Type S that I still have, paying 88/month on that.
Sucks though cause the increase in gas usage offsets the savings on insurance so basically just breaking even.

I freakin love my type s, it just doesn't have enough power for me anymore. I had a base for 1 1/2 years then I got the type last june.
My gf is lookin to buy it off me though, so I'll still be able to drive it whenever I want

With my hookup...I pay 290/month in NY. I was with geico at 330 and they shot my policy up to 2400/6 months. CRAZY. Ill be 25 in December, lets see what happens then.
If i would ever buy an STI, it would be more for its looks and that 2.5 engine.....like a white 06 with gold wheels (think HIDs and A nice drop) = sex
OP - which ever one you choose, you will be happy. There's plenty of info and reviews out there to help with your decision.
