Biggest, most common problem? Kids buying used, beat Evos, not having the funds to make them whole, and then claiming a lack of reliability

The 5 speed has been reported to be stronger then the 6speed MR versions. From what im told the 4th gear the 6speeds, tends to heat up really bad and is the weakest gear. The 5 speeds can handle more Torque.

The fourth gear problems in the 6 speed seem to be heat related, road race conditions create a lot of heat and fourth can't handle it. If the car is maintained well and you pay attention to the fluids there shouldn't be a problem. Abuse and bad shifting usually cause failures. Blame it on the not behind the wheel, not the car.

I have not had any real issues yet thankfully. But I think I will need some tranny work soon.
