What are some the most common problems evos have?

Interested in buying a semi built evo. What are the most common problems evos have? tranny etc... or is there a thread that have been made about this.

check condition of clutch, alot of guys are hard on the stock clutchs so they don't last.

money and clutch. Be easy on teh six speed if you get an mr. I've heard of problems pulling lots of power in 4th being since it's a bit of a short gear.

Evo's Really Require a sh-it ton of maintaining. If you just keep up on the Oil, and all the other fluids and Spark Plugs and your visual Multi-Point inspections by the dealer or a good mech, then this car will last you well past 145k. I know from experiance that the 4G63 will Last into 200K as long as you maintain it and dont abuse it. By far the weakest link in this car IS the linkage. The T-Case, Clutch and preaty much anything to do with the Transmission. Just dont Launch at every freakin stoplight and this thing will bring you to the end of days.
