Evo 9 different Trims

So i have a Quick Qestion.

I have owned an evo 8 MR i have sold it and am looking into a Evo 9 but im not sure what trim to get and whats the difference between the trim.

First off correct me if im wrong but the trims are

MR
RS
GSR
SE
SSL

i was wondering if someone could fill me in on the differences between the different trims.

MR-6spd, Blistien suspention, Aluminum hood, 17in BBS rims, Leather?

RS- Gutted no stereo, no wing, normal Rims, 5 spd,

GSR- No idea

SE- no idea

SSL- Sunroof, upgraded stereo, 5spd, Leather?

Please if you could just list the benifits and disadvantages of each trim.

Also i love to autocross my car and have fun with it. would the MR tranny be a bad idea if my goal is 350WHP. I wana keep stock turbo and just all the bolt ons and cams.

Any help would be great thanks again!

I would get an IX, not MR.

The only reason I say that is that many people with modded MR's say that you go through first gear WAY to fast. If you do alot of highway driving, you may like the MR because it has an extra gear for cruising.

first gear should only be used for launching the evo, first gear being short has nothing to do with racing

IMO...

Well yes i know the different trims but i was asking if someone could explane what you get with the different trim.

For Example

"GSR you get stock wheels and no leather interior. but with the SSL you get BBS rims but still no leather."

Things like that so i know what the differences are. so i can tell what i wana get.

I guess better yet. i will just say what im hoping for and maybe some one can tell me what Trim to look for.

I want the BBS rims 5 spd and i would like to have the Front bumper that sticks out on the pass and driver side. low down by the ground. i noticed that some are just round and come back into the car while others kinda flair out. i know that its stock with Mitsubishi because i saw it at dealers when they were new.

Also i would like the most performance i can get im not sure if one model is lighter then another. besides the RS because i know thats way lighter.

Leather would be nice

Get the SE. You get the best of all the worlds. 5-speed, BBS, aluminum roof, the SE lip(duh), HID's, and red stitching on the seats.

I love my SE. I can't stand all of the people that only ask if it's an MR and when I say no their they look at me all dissapointed and then I say I have an SE and then they have no idea. people are so stupid.
