Get the ACT HD-G6 sprung hud six puck. I have it and love it. I had a fidanza 3.2 before and it was to weak. It really isnt as aggressive as you might think and will hold up better than the street disk.

ACT claims it'll hold up to 450 hp I think, but not totally positive

I have had a few different clutch set ups and combos.... For a DSM act seems to work just fine but not with the evo. Get an TD; do it right the first time around otherwise you will be back in the same boat in no time. Also notice almost everyone telling you to get an act is a noob.

lol k so exedy twin disk, witch one though, theres one on lancershop.com that a exedy hyper twin plate standers clutch and theres another one, its a exedy hyper twin plate heavy duty clutch, so witch one of those do i get, i would figure the standard one cause my mods arent high up there, but the heavy duty one is only 100 bucks more and comes with a flywheel so maybe that one is better, what do you guys think

so i just read that all the exedy twin plate clutches come with flywheels so maybe just the standard, and are these exedy clutches stiff enough to break your leg out anything

That guy compared it to stock.
From what I've read so far, I'm probably going to get a twin disk. I'm not pushing alot of HP, but I like to race it (drag, autox, TT) and I'd like to know I can slip the clutch occassionally without it going out or smelling burnt like my current clutch does. And I don't want to be replacing a clutch every year lol.

so what i read in this guys review is the guy put a ****ty exedy ebay look alike on the car and it didnt work worth a ****, and he bought the exedy twin disk HD(heavy duty) and it was almost like stock and hooks up very well. but can you slip it at all, cause what this guy said is it is unengaged until the pedal is all the way down, so can it slip to launch or anything?

I just ordered a pt61bb kit from ets that shouild be here in a few weeks . Im also looking for a clutch I know everyone says get the twin disk but I dont ever launch the car and I dont plan on making anymore then like 450awhp anytime soon. So what do you all think would be my best option price wise and something that is gonna hold and last as well.

Exedy twin for a 350whp car?? A $1500 clutch is OVERKILL for a bolt on Evo. There is nothing wrong with ACT. From what I can see you either love the ACT or hate it...so anybody who talks crap about an ACT is just a hater. Go with the ACT 2900 with a street disc if you want a clutch that will hold some power.
